Finding from my questionnaire

From the feedback from my questionnaire, I am quite pleased, and, as I though my magazine was a little too crowded for the target audience, I was right, as that is what the questionnaire answers reveal.
The questionnaire I made was aimed at a younger age group, and, as I only asked teenagers to fill out the questionnaire, they though It was a little childish.
My feedback was overall quite satisfying, and the average rating for my magazine was an 8 out of 10, which was pleasing for me as the questionnaires were only handed out to teenagers, and I agree that it was a little crowded. The boys in the class thought that it was too girlish, but that was my aim as it was only a girl’s magazine.
A lot of people thought I should make my price lower from £1.90, but the same amount of people thought I should keep it the same so I will as I agree I should keep it the same.
All the people that filled out the questionnaire said that 5-12 year olds would be interested in the magazine, which it brilliant with no criticism!
Nearly every person liked the colours (silver and lilac) I used for my magazine, and only 1 person did not… (Noting he was a boy :/) and said I should use less lilac and more blue. I do not agree with that and will not be changing the used colours, as the majority vote liked them.
Overall, I think there are only a few things I change about my magazine, the first being the fact that it is a little too crowded. I think I had too many ideas and wanted to cram them all into the magazine, so next time I will be careful about the layout, and also the second thing; Next time I will make the product more performing for the target audience, as I think my magazine has too much information for the young age group expected.

client prpossal for perfume

In order to create an advertising proposal, I need to gather information about the company that makes the product, where it want to advertise, what it wants the advertising to achieve and how much it has to spend.
The advertising budget for my campaign to advertise Callabana by Sunny Dai is £100,00.
I want my adverts to achieve selling in higher market places such as shops in Oxford Street and hopefully to be nearly sold out in most common market shops such as Pearson’s, and John Lewis. The perfume will not be sold in Tesco and Marks and Spencer’s at first: otherwise it may not have the same unique, new special perfume that everybody around has, it should make the target audience feel they are unique, and the perfume is too special to be sold just anywhere.  I would like every adult to know what Callabana is, and want to own it themselves, feeling the new experience of a perfume, introducing a new product to the market.
The advertising type for now will be posters and advertisements in magazines, and still online adverts on websites, but will soon progress to TV moving advertisements when more money is gained through the perfume.
The print advert for the Callabana will be an oak/ acorn tree in a sunny but empty field with the wind bowing, and an acorn falling off but as it falls it turns into the glass perfume bottle, Callabana. The print advert will have the “Callabana perfume...” at the top of the page, and the slogan “hidden identity. Be free. By Sunny Dai” at the bottom of the advert. The tree will have two white doves coming from it, and will sparkle with glitter. The aim is to make it look like freedom and nature, but beauty and elegance at the same time.
The target audience profile for my product perfume will be mainly just for adults, because if I aimed for any younger, such as kids and teenagers, they don’t think of adults as funky and hip, so they would most likely go out of fashion, and adults are the most likely highest age group people that will Understand the hidden meaning, and won’t be ”bored” by the soft colours. The adults may have bought some perfumes before, and would have the money to buy the perfume. They would be woman that likes shopping, and are mature, even pensioners could buy this perfume.

Client proposal for shoes

In order to create an advertising proposal, I need to gather information about the company that makes the product, where it want to advertise, what it wants the advertising to achieve and how much it has to spend.
The advertising budget for my campaign to advertise Shakx shoes by Luki is £100,00.
I want my adverts to achieve selling in higher market places such as opening a shop in oxford street and hopefully to be nearly sold out in most common market shops such as Punkfish, and John Lewis The shoe will not be sold in Tesco and Marks and Spencer’s; otherwise It may not have the same unique, new punk/funk shoe out that to teenagers, it too special to be sold just anywhere.  I would like every teenager to know what Shakx shoes are, and want to own them themselves, introducing a new product to the market.
The advertising type for now will be posters and advertisements in magazines, and still online adverts on websites, but will soon progress to TV moving advertisements when more money is gained through the shoes.
The print advert for the Shakx shoes will be a dark black plain background with an example of the shoe in the middle of the page, and electric wave strings weave in and out and around the shoe, all different colours but edited with Photoshop to look electrical, the shoe will have a silver “river” looking shadow behind it to make it look magical, and the words “Funk, yea” will be at the bottom of the page. The Shakx shoes logo will be at the top corner of the page in white writing, and birds are flying out of the shoe, so lots of things are going on at the same time to make it look magical.  It is going to make a teenager think it is stylish, unique, different, magical, funky, made pacifically for their age, and colourful, for every need.
The target audience profile for my product shoe will be mainly just for teens, because if I aimed for older, such as adults, teenagers don’t think of adults as funky and hip, so they would most likely go out of fashion, and teenagers are the most likely highest age group people that will buy this shoe because of the design and the adverts. The teenagers would be wanting to be hip, fashionable, and unique but fitting in with the crowd at the same time, being cool. They would most likely like to go out and “hang” but shop a lot as well, to be able to find the advert and buy the product. The target market would have enough “pocket money” to buy the shoes, and 13-19 year olds would like the style of them.

Advertising standards authority

The ASA is the UK's independent regulator of advertising across all media, including marketing on websites. We work to ensure ads are legal, decent, honest and truthful by applying the Advertising Codes.
In addition, the Codes contain specific rules for certain products and marketing techniques. These include rules for alcoholic drinks, health and beauty claims, children, medicines, financial products, environmental claims, gambling, direct marketing and prize promotions. These rules add an extra layer of consumer protection on top of consumer protection law and aim to ensure that UK advertising is responsible.
The ASA administers the rules in the spirit as well as the letter, making it almost impossible for advertisers to find loopholes or ‘get off on a technicality’. This common sense approach takes into account the nature of the product being advertised, the media used, and the audience being targeted.
Sarah Andrew:
The Advertisement Standards authority makes sure that advertisements made are not illegal and have everything or do not include things you are not allowed to contain in an advert, and apply to all products being sold at any time they are lots of rules that stop adverts from misleading, offending, harming or do anything that may disrupt citizens. Adverts are also known widely for not being able to lie- the most known rule for adverts, every fact stated has to be completely true.

My product perfume blog post

My second product is a perfume, called Callabana, which I think is a nature kind of word and I think of forest when said or wrote. The slogan for this perfume will be "Hidden Identity. Be free." Which I think merges the scene of nature, Being free, and the idea that when you spray the perfume on, you will be someone else, a totally different perfume because it is totally different to anything else on the market. The brand/ company will be a person's name, Sunny Dai, as most perfumes are in the name of celebrities or singers. The target audience will be mainly adults, and it could be older adults as well. The perfume bottle itself will be very light, and glass like most other perfume bottles. It will be in the basic shape of an acorn, and the glass will be a light-acorn-chestnut brown see-through. The top will be a sprayer with a pumper that is a soft but dark green color to represent a leaf on the acorn. The perfume will come in a box with a free key ring in the same shape as the acorn and the leaf hanging on the corner of a small box. The perfume is meant to look elegant but make people have the freedom of nature as well, which I think the perfume has succeeded at acheiving. The price for the perfume will be roughly £38, depending on where it is sold.

About my shoe blog post

My product will be a shoe, called Shakx shoes. They are much like the design of converse shoes and come in over  100 different patterns and colors. The slogan for the shoe will be "Funk, yea", because it is catchy, so you will think of the shoes when it is on an advert because it is unique, it is short and easy to remember, and because it is the type of words a teenager, the target audience, use, and what they look for in a shoe when trying to buy the product. The company brand that makes the shoe is called Luki because it is short and easy to remember for teenagers, and no other company is called Luki. These shoes have the whole package, they are funky, cool, colorful, they fit the need, they are unique and just for teens! Nothing like it. The target audience are tens because they would like the design of the shoe and it suits to fit the type of fashion teens are wearing these days. The Shakx shoes are light and funky with no metal or hard material on, and with leather at the front of the toes, and are fit to comfort, and have thick cushion souls to be able to walk around in the for a long time quite frequently. The shoe has colorful laces instead of kiddy-ish velcro, thinking of the target audience. The price for the shoes would vary depending on where they are sold, and the design on them. The lowest price for the shoe would be roughly £29+. They come in a colorful paint splattered box that has the slogan imprinted on the front.

Explain why I chose my moodboard...

I chose to aim my magazine at horses because I know a lot about them and find them Interesting. I know that horse magazines are very popular amongst younger children. There were already a few people in the class aiming to focus on a dog/puppy theme so I wanted to do something different. It was also a higher priced range of magazine. by sarah andrew
