NEW! mY MOODboard write up! :)

My Moodboards Write-up:
Our task was to make three picture moodboards on PowerPoint on three different subjects that we could have done for our own magazine, which could be about anything (appropriate). I did mine about animals, because I own a lot of animals and I have an interest in them, but I couldn’t decide WHICH animal to specialize in.

I did my three moodboards on general pets, horses, and dogs. I have reviewed the pictures on what type of magazine layout I could use for each theme and chosen on horses. I have done horse riding since I can remember and probably before then, so I know a lot about horses. I am going for a childish magazine for 7- 12 year olds girls. The colours I am going to have are purple, lilac, baby blue, and silver. These colours, put together, are quite girly. I am going to have horse hoofs around the mast.

my spreadsheet task write up

As a class, we made a questionnaire, and we each filled one out. From there, Miss photocopied all of them so we all had everyone else’s. Our task was to copy the questionnaires onto a spreadsheet. There were a lot of questionnaires so it took two lessons to fill it out, and then we sorted them out into categories, such as the relation to boys’ favourite voted game, to the girl’s.

we tried lots of different category lists, and found out that Xbox is the most popular console in the class, and just dance is the voted best game. Facebook, as expected, was the most popular social messaging site with 100% of the class agreeing and others forgot to fill in the back page, but also agreed.
We then placed the spreadsheet on our blogs.

My magazine write-up

Our task was to design a front cover for a TV listings magazine with features like a real one.
Out of the three price range choices, I would rate my magazine a middle class to high class.

I have looked at a template of a TV listing magazine cover and tried to include some of the main things in mine too. Here is a list of the things I included in my magazine:

Mast
Main feature
Title
Price
I put dark Christmassy colors in the magazine cover because I made a Christmas issue of a TV listings cover. I placed the price in a snowflake to present this.
I Created an old film, with pictures with what was going to be on in the magazine.

The results shown above discover that there is a lot of fashion and gossip within goffs school- and the teachers know (!) There are a lot, however, of secrets about other teachers that we didn’t know. I think that a lot of this material would be very appropriate to put in a magazine that would be distributed around goffs school, and would be very popular.

If a magazine was made for goffs school, I would place that title as (Gossip at Goffs!).

We would put the most shocking and funny news and answers on the front cover of a magazine for the school.
